Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress who is most well-known for her role as Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom" and has earned a lot of fame. Calvano originates from California and first became fascinated by gymnastics. She decided, later on to pursue a career path in acting. Her screen debut was in the 2010 episode of the CBS show 'NCIS. Her big screen debut came within a year on the Biographical Drama "J Edgar". Through the years, she's proven herself as one of the most exciting actors of the current field. In 2011, she won a nomination for the Young Artist Award, Best Performance by a Young Actress in a Television Series for her part in "NCIS". In 2013, as a guest role in Disney XD's "Kickin' It comedy show and received a second nomination for a Young Artist Award. Calvano was a key character in "Mom" in the series' first three season in addition to making appearances on several episodes of Season four. In 2015, she won the Gracie Allen Award of Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star for her appearance in Mom.
